In 1997 Batfleck starred in a movie about a friendship torn apart by romantic interests.
Holden (Batfleck) and his friend Banky (played by Jason Lee) are coworkers, best friends, and roommates- going through life together completely happy.
One night, while out on the town Holden meets a young attractive woman named Alyssa Jones (played by Joey Lauren Adams) and the two instantly connect, though she thinks the Batman mask is a little weird. Holden is definitely attracted to Alyssa, and wants to ask her out, the problem being that Alyssa is a lesbian. Still the two have such a good time together that they decided that they should become good friends.
At first Banky is happy for his friend Holden... but as time passes Banky notices Holden is spending more and more time with Alyssa. Banky becomes jealous. He does not like that Alyssa has come between himself and Holden. He politely voices his frustrations with Holden, but Holden ignores Banky's protests and continues to invite Alyssa over. Banky is displeased, but holds his tongue.
Holden and Alyssa's friendship eventually evolves into a romantic relationship, which causes an even larger rift between Holden and Banky. Banky is concerned that Alyssa will eventually break Holden's heart. Holden doesn't care because he's getting some, and he finally convinced Alyssa to put on a Catwoman mask.
Holden and Alyssa's relationship eventually implodes, just like Banky predicted, causing Holden to fall into a deep depression. Banky confronted Holden telling him, "I told you so." Holden didn't like Banky's attitude, and Banky didn't like how Holden had turned his back on him. Banky turns in his mask. The rift is permanent.
Michael Bay directed a little art house film titled Armageddon back in 1998, which stared Bruce Willis and Ben "Batfleck" Affleck as two oil drill workers hired by NASA to help stop an asteroid from hitting the planet. It was an okay, movie- but let's take a look at it again- with a Batfleck lens...
Let's face it, this would have been a 12 minute movie, if that. First off, let's assume that somehow the asteroid would have gotten past Batfleck's notice to begin with (maybe Batfleck was busy tracking down Penguin or something)- the truth is, once aware of said asteroid Batfleck would have flown up in his Batfleck-plane and yelled at the asteroid till it got scared and changed course of its own free will. If that didn't work then Batfleck would have simply scared the asteroid into submission.
